Hevi-Haul Skate Model HHM-50 has a 50 ton capacity (100,000#) and utilizes
sixteen 3 1/4" steel rollers (8 on each side). This specially designed skate
allows full 360 degree rotation about the center plate between the top and
bottom skate. This skate can also be split into two halves and each used as a
separate skate with a capacity of 50 tons each. This is the most popular of the
three house-moving skate models and the guide rollers can be adjusted to accept
I-beams from 8 1/4" to 16 1/4" wide.

House moving over a highway!

After this house was moved off of its
foundation (with the help of Hevi-Haul HM-50 Skates), it had to be
moved over a major highway before getting to its final destination.
