All Aluminum Truck Dockboards

  • Truck Board Taper-Lock Safety Stop - Provides positive positioning between dock and carrier for truck boards.  Tapered leg eliminates wedging or pinching and permits minimum park-out.  This tough, shock-resistant extruded part is designed to withstand the everyday knocks and pounding of high volume, large loads on busy truck docks.
  • Deck Plate - Traction-type safety-tread surface with 1/16" raised diamond pattern.  No skimping on material; no compromise with safe-engineered design.  Careful selection of plate thickness assures board strength.
  • Beveled Edges - Precision machined to a 10 degree angle for smooth, bump-free access onto the board surface.  Protects loads against jarring, damage and spillage.
  • Crowning - Board edges seat properly against the dock and truck floor for safe, smooth equipment crossover.  Correct degree of bend prevents board "kick-up", levels out grade angle for extra clearance, increases safety.
  • Tire Saver Curbs - The contour of Magliner safety curbs is designed to minimize contact between wheel and curb face, preventing tire damage and curb gouging, extending dockboard service life.  Heavy-section extruded Safety Curbs are full-perimeter, welded to the dockplate for maximum strength and structural support.  Bright yellow painted finish provides high visibility and adds to loading safety.
  • Rail Board Understructure - Solid engineering span understructure provides added support to dockplate and serves as position-lock between dock and railcar.  Heavy-duty span members are deep penetration welded and gusset reinforced at all critical points to absorb impact and stress loads of railcar forklift service.  Every Magliner rail board is engineered for its specific application.   Note:  Usable widths will be 3" - 7" less.

Bolt-On Steel Curb Models

Tall, 4" steel curbs are made from high strength formed steel sheet.  Reversible steel stops for both standard and refrigerated carrier use.  11" or 15.5" apron lengths.  Slip resistant, high strength 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with 1/16" raised diamond tread plate surface and an 11 degree angle.  Eleven models in widths of 60" and 72", lengths 36" through 72" and 10,000 pound and 15,000 pound capacities.  Accessories:  Lift Chains have stamped steel brackets that provide safe forklift handling.  The chain is adjustable to fit 60" and 72" lengths, for servicing all available models.

DOCKBOARD ACCESSORIES

  1. Lift Chains: Lift chains provide safe forklift handling.  Variable chain positioning gives better when moving larger boards.
  2. Dockboard Drop Pins: For rail or truck boards where span adjustment or park-out is required.  Also when truck board reversal is necessary, and minimum apron on truck is desired.   Drop pin receiving holes in auxiliary fins provide positive locking.
  3. Span Adjustors: A positive locking accessory that provides complete span adjustability for nearly all dock conditions.   Typical applications:  (1) using truck dockboards also at rail docks  (2) where truck park-out

There's a Magliner Dockboard for Every Situation.

Special conditions call for special solutions, and Magliner offers many different Magliner dockboards to handle them.  Maybe an extreme height difference between your dock and the carrier makes a standard dockboard impractical, because the grade angle is too steep for traversing equipment.   No problem for a Magliner dockboard- and-ramp combination.  This two section unit does the job nicely, providing longer, lower slope for safe, smooth crossover.  A Magliner board-and-ramp is also ideal for use with pallet trucks or similar equipment, where low under clearance or an extended overhang may cause the load to get hung up as it crosses the board.

The refrigerated railcar, with its narrow doors and higher floors is another typical problem.  The answer - a Magliner flared rail board with narrow curbs on the carrier side,  permitting full use of door width for equipment entry, while the flared opening at dockside provides easy turning and maneuverability for forklift trucks.  Because dock loading situations vary so greatly, Magline manufactures many kinds of dockboards to meet these special needs.  Just tell use your problem.   Magline has the solution!
